Dear Sirs, We are a major supplier of oilfield equipment in the Iranian oil industry , we have recently received a tender from one of our customers concerning provision of 20 joints of NON-MAGNETIC DRILL COLLARS (NMDC) with the following specifications: 1 – 8 joints of 4-3/4" OD x 2-13/16 ID x 31' Length 2 – 6 Joints of 8-1/2" OD x 3-3/4" ID x 31' Length 3 – 6 Joints of 9-1/2" OD x 4-1/4" ID x 31' Length All the required collars should comply with API standards and requirements , also the following issues must be confirmed: a –chemical composition should give a homogenous passive layer to the alloy which protects the collars from Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC). b -The collars should be subjected to Residua Stress Control (RSC) content of the alloy ensuring a Non-senticized Micro Structure and giving effective protection against internal Granular Stress Corrosion (GSC). C -All pipes should be protected by External coating for protection Rust and also marked with API monogram. Please advise your rock bottom price for C&F delivery. I await your prompt response.
