Kaotek electronics was established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1988 by the president Mr. David Su.
Mr. Su is an expert in the design of electronic circuitry; over his career he has dedicated his energies to developing specialized electronic products and sharing his knowledge with others.
As a result, Mr. Su has had a career marked with high achievements that include, teaching in the electronics department at college, serving as a supervisor at the Industrial Technology Research Institute and being a host of the Computer Data Acquisition Technology Organization.
Mr. Su’s passion for the electronics field has also led him to be appointed as an adviser to many well known electronic companies.
Over the last few years Mr. Su has designed a number of high quality products that have been recognized in both Taiwan and China with accolades such as the Symbol of excellence and the golden millennium awards.
Our main products are mostly based on the wireless series of microphones, portable PA and security systems.
We currently list 7 types of wireless microphones, 8 types of portable wireless PA systems and 3 types of wireless security systems.
Many of these systems hold awards and patents for advanced technology.
In addition we manufacture a patented single wire digital PA system that is capable of running up to 100,000 speakers over a single wire up to a distance of 100km long.
Other projects in development include our low profile electronic fluorescent ballast and our digital lighting controller, able to control lighting fixtures either individually or collectively in an entire building.
The possible expansion for this new lighting system is almost limitless.
With more and more buildings and homes being designed with household/office automation, the system may be expanded to include control of virtually every system in the building.
In the past many systems similar to this failed to gain acceptance because they were either too simple (not enough functions), too complicated (too many functions) or just too expensive.
As technology has allowed for costs to reduce and features to increase, the controller system is finally gaining widespread acceptance.
Already in design stage are add-ons for controlling power points and window curtains in our system, it is truly modular, there is no reason why the system cannot be the main centre to control every function in the building.
Mr. Su holds around twenty patents valid in over 45 countries for the products he has designed.
This gives our products unequalled protection against copying and allows us to gain a good market foothold before similarly designed competition can appear.
Kaotek has achieved the ISO-9001 and 14001 certifications and all our products are FCC and CE compliant, additionally all Kaotek products fully comply with the new RoHS regulations.

Kaotek has grown rapidly over the last sixteen years, apart from our main factory in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, we also have a second facility based in Shenzhen, China.
Kaotek currently has eight state of the art automated SMT production lines.
With these lines we can manufacture high quality PCB’s and because they are fully automated, repeat the process time after time.
Because we have spare capacity on our lines, we can contract assemble to other manufacturers of both rigid and flexible PCB’s.
Over the years we have contract assembled PCB’s for some famous companies such as Fijitsu, Hitachi and Fuji in Japan and Sunon and Formosa Plastics Corp in Taiwan.
Kaotek’s staff is its biggest asset, in both the factory and administration they are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence.
Quality control in the assembly area is of a very high standard, with emphasis on making sure the product passes all quality control tests first time, every time.
Each product is individually inspected and signed off to ensure it reaches our high level of quality.
In our sales department our staff works with the customer every step of the way, we don’t just sell a product, we listen to the customers needs.
We are very flexible; our product specification may change depending on what the customer wants.
Our sales staff target specific areas where our products may be popular and using a multiple of tools such as trade shows, printed advertising, the internet, e-mail, telephone, fax and B2B websites, present our products to the world.
Our portable wireless PA systems have proved very popular with sales totaling in the hundreds of thousands, target groups have included, schools, tour groups, retirement homes, product demonstrators, auctioneers and street performers.
Each customer has the option should they wish, for us to OEM our product with their brand name.
Over the years we have OEM manufactured for some very famous customers, even if you have never seen our brand before, there is a chance you will have seen our products under another famous brand name.
